Barcelona based artist David Borrull works within the fields of animation, painting, and drawing. Although his work has a strong classic animation foundation, he combines his experimentation based animation either with commercial work or his very own projects. After being taught at Barcelona tradicional animation techniques he moved to London in order to improve and develop further. He ended studying at the London College of Printing, Central St. Martins and finally coursing an MA at the Royal College of Art. Since then he has been working for the studios Nexus Productions and Academy Films until he moved back to Barcelona where he carries on working for all kind of animation projects, from commercials to series and workshops. He has develop a small production company called PDA which consist on developing animation shortfilms around the world with the collaboration of children between the age of
6 to 12.
